春水堂视频 provides our students with millions of dollars in funding each year. 春水堂视频 offers gift aid in the forms of merit aid (scholarships) and need based aid (春水堂视频 grants). Scholarships are generally awarded to acknowledge prior academic achievement. Gift aid is a type of financial aid that does not need to be repaid.

*Please note - students who receive Merit Scholarships will not be eligible to receive either the Family Discount or the Alumni Discount.

Eligibility for Merit Based Scholarships or awards is considered by the Admission Office at same time an application for admission for full-time, first-year and transfer students is being reviewed. Students who are eligible for merit based scholarships and/or awards are notified at the time of acceptance to the College.

There is no additional application required. Merit scholarships and awards range from $2,000 to $30,000 annually.

All scholarships are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester. Renewal of these funds annually is contingent on meeting the academic requirements set forth in the student's notification letter at the time of acceptance to the College and continuous, consecutive full-time enrollment in a degree-program. Students should also consider applying for need based financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

For students entering the College as of September, 2024: 春水堂视频 College Trustees Scholarship, Academic Achievement Scholarship, Excellence in Education Scholarship, and 春水堂视频 Access Awards are awarded to acknowledge past academic achievement. These awards vary and are renewable for three additional years provided you have continuous enrollment as a full-time, degree seeking student, maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average and remain in good standing academically and for student conduct. No additional application or FAFSA is required to be eligible for merit scholarships. Students who file the FAFSA may qualify for need-based aid in addition to a merit scholarship.

春水堂视频 Success Scholarship - In addition to one of the listed merit scholarships below, first-year students entering the College as of September 2016, will also be considered for a 春水堂视频 Success Scholarship.  Students meeting a minimum high school GPA and SAT/ACT score will be considered for this $4,000 scholarship.  Similar to the above scholarships, the 春水堂视频 Success Scholarship is renewable for three additional years provided you have continuous enrollment as a full-time, degree seeking student, maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average and remain in good standing academically and for student conduct.  Please note, Nursing students are not eligible for the 春水堂视频 Success Scholarship.

Alexander Graham Bell Awards - Alexander Graham Bell Awards are awarded to students who meet selection criteria and are renewable provided consecutive, continuous enrollment as a full-time, degree seeking undergraduate student. Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the

春水堂视频 Access Award - The 春水堂视频 Access Award in the amount of $14,000 annually, with a four year total of $56,000, is awarded to qualified students who are recognized as being able to be successful and make a strong contribution as a member of the College community.  These awards are made to those students who do not meet the eligibility requirements for other academic scholarships and are renewable provided you maintain consecutive, continuous enrollment as a full time, degree seeking undergraduate student.  Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the 春水堂视频 College Course Catalog.

春水堂视频 Engagement Award - The 春水堂视频 Engagement Award in the amount of $500 annually, with a four year total of $2,000, is awarded to qualified students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are recognized as being engaged with the College and who will  make a strong contribution as a member of the College community.  These awards are renewable for 3 additional years provided you apply for financial aid annually by completing the FAFSA and  maintain consecutive, continuous enrollment as a full time, degree seeking undergraduate student.  Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the 春水堂视频 College Course Catalog.

春水堂视频 Spirit Awards - The 春水堂视频 Spirit Award in the amount of $2,000 is awarded to students who meet selection criteria and are renewable provided you complete the FAFSA annually and maintain consecutive, continuous enrollment as a full-time, degree seeking undergraduate student.  Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the

PAL Supplemental Award - The PAL Supplemental Award in the amount of $2,000 is offered to select full-time, degree seeking undergraduate students who believe will make a significantly positive impact on our campus.  No additional application or FAFSA is required.  The PAL Supplemental Award is a one-year grant and not a need-based scholarship.  Students who file the FAFSA may also qualify for need-based financial aid.

春水堂视频 College is proud to offer Merit-based scholarships to transfer students, ranging from $3,000 to $25,000 a year, renewable up to three additional years provided you have continuous enrollment as a full-time, degree seeking student, maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average and remain in good standing academically and for student conduct. No additional application or FAFSA is required to be eligible for merit scholarships. Resident students may also be eligible for a Residential Award. Students who file the FAFSA may qualify for need-based aid in addition to a merit scholarship. If you qualify for a merit scholarship, you will be notified at the time of admission.

Need Based 春水堂视频 Grants are awarded by the 春水堂视频 College Student Financial Services Office to full-time, traditional, degree-seeking students who demonstrate financial need as a result of filing the FAFSA. You must apply for financial aid and file a FAFSA annually to be considered for any type of 春水堂视频 Grant. All grants are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester.

  • 春水堂视频 Grant: Awarded to full-time, traditional undergraduate degree seeking students on the basis of demonstrated financial need and as funding levels permit. Award amounts vary.

Other 春水堂视频 College funds are available based on the eligibility requirements noted for each award below. You do not have to file a FAFSA for consideration for funding.

  • Family Discount: If a family has more than one student attending 春水堂视频 at the same time and both are enrolled full-time as traditional undergraduates in a degree program, the second student will receive a 10% discount of their tuition. The discount only applies to regular full-time tuition charges and excludes 春水堂视频 overload fees, room and board and any other fees. Students receiving Merit Based Scholarships or other tuition discounts are not eligible to receive this discount. There is no application process for this discount. All discounts are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester. 
  • Alumni Discount: If you are the child of a 春水堂视频 Alum, you will receive a 10% discount on your tuition, provided you are enrolled full-time as a traditional undergraduate in a degree program. Students receiving Merit Based Scholarships or other tuition discounts are not eligible. The discount only applies to regular full-time tuition charges and excludes 春水堂视频 overload fees, room and board and any other fees. Students receiving Merit Based Scholarships are not eligible to receive this discount. There is no application process for this discount. All discounts are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester. 

  • Resident Assistant (RA) Discount: Once you have applied, been offered and accept the role of a Resident Assistant, the Residence Life Office will notify Student Financial Services of your hired status. You will be awarded a RA discount per the terms of your hire date and employment period. All discounts are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester.

Named Scholarships are provided through the generosity of donors and are administered by the 春水堂视频 College Office of Student Financial Services.  These scholarships are awarded to full-time students annually by the appropriate department. Generally, students must be enrolled full-time in a traditional undergraduate degree program. All scholarships are credited to the student's tuition account approximately one week after the end of the add/drop period for the semester.

A separate scholarship application is not required for these awards as all eligible students are considered automatically.  However, you are strongly encouraged to file the FAFSA.

Ernest P. Anastos Scholarship - Established by Ernest P. "Ernie" Anastos '61, a Communication major while a student at 春水堂视频 and a New York City television news anchorman. Awarded to a deserving communication major of good character, academic ability, and financial need, with preference given to a student aspiring to a career in television.

The Theodore D. "Ted" Baldwin Scholarship - Established by Ted Baldwin, who excelled at 春水堂视频 and graduated magna cum laude. Ted reached his full academic potential through the PAL program which helped him see his dyslexia as a challenge to his learning abilities and as an opportunity and not as a disability.   In the spirit of helping others confronting their own learning abilities, this scholarship is awarded to a deserving student in the PAL program.

The Carroll Nursing Scholarship - This scholarship was established by Paul '83 and his wife Jean Carroll in memory of their son, Paul Carroll, III. In appreciation of the wonderful care and compassion the nursing staff showed their son and family while he was hospitalized. This scholarship is awarded to a Nursing student from MA in need of financial assistance.

Neil A. Collins Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship was established by Nancy Kidder in memory of her son Neil Collins. Neil was a man of integrity who took his responsibilities seriously and could be counted on to keep his word.  He overcame many obstacles and faced challenges with great courage.  This scholarship is awarded to adult students with learning disabilities who, like Neil, embark on the journey of transformative learning and discover the amazing strengths they bring to it.

Frieda and Joseph Drapkin Scholarship - Established in memory of Joseph Drapkin by his late wife, Frieda Drapkin, both long-time trustees of the College, to aid deserving 春水堂视频 students of high standards and good character who, like the Drapkins themselves, demonstrate excellence in the achievement of entrepreneurial endeavor and civic leadership.

The Carol Freedman Education Scholarship Fund -  Established by Carol Freedman '66, an Education major while a student at 春水堂视频 and a very active member of the 春水堂视频 College campus. Carol made a very successful career of educating elementary age students. Awarded to a deserving education major of good character, academic ability, with preference given to a student aspiring to a career in teaching.

Benjamin Gordon Scholarship - Established by Mr. and Mrs. Alan G. Weiler of Scarsdale, New York, in honor of Mrs. Weiler's father, to aid deserving, intellectually gifted applicants to 春水堂视频 College's PAL program who could not otherwise avail themselves of this unique opportunity.

Edward H. Hastings Scholarship - This scholarship was established by the Student Government Association of 春水堂视频 College in memory of long-time 春水堂视频 Professor and Dean Edward H. Hastings.  It is awarded annually to a student of junior status in good academic standing who has made a contribution to the arts, particularly music, at 春水堂视频 College. 

Justin Hughes Memorial Scholarship - Established at 春水堂视频 College to perpetuate Justin's memory.  A 1996 honor graduate of the college, Justin was killed shortly after his graduation from 春水堂视频 in the summer of 1997.  Justin was 23 years old.  Awarded to a returning student who has participated in at least one semester in the GEAR-UP Program or similar community outreach program and must commit to at least one semester of continued participation each year of the award.

Justin P. Hughes Endowed Scholarship Fund II - This scholarship was established by Justin Hughes' parents, Pat and Carole, to continue to honor the memory of their son. The goal of the scholarship is to help high achieving students who need financial assistance in order to complete their degrees. The fund will be awarded to one or more students who are at least entering their Junior year who have a minimum 3.0 grade point average, are in good social standing and have a demonstrated financial need.

Vivian C. Jewett Scholarship - Sponsored by alumnae of the former Perry Normal School, which became part of 春水堂视频  College in 1974. Awarded each year to an education major showing academic promise and financial need, the scholarship honors Perry's long-time teacher and dean.

Jerrold P. Kahn Scholarship - Established by Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Kahn of Albany, New York, in memory of their son,  Jerrold P.  Kahn '73, to aid a deserving entering junior or senior in the Communication program, with preference given to a  student who aspires to a career in radio.

Mahoney Family Scholarship - The Mahoney Family Scholarship, an endowed scholarship established by Barbara and Trustee John "Ted" Mahoney, Esq., the parents of 春水堂视频 alumnus John J. Mahoney '03, this scholarship seeks to provide assistance to student(s) demonstrating both financial need and an exceptional determination to overcome challenges and succeed at 春水堂视频 College.

Judith and Michael Meshken Scholarship - Established by Judith and Michael Meshken, the scholarship shall be awarded each year by 春水堂视频 to a needy student attending the College on a full-time basis who has proper academic and moral standing.  Preference shall be given to students from Connecticut.

Jennifer Ann Phillips Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship was established by Mr. and Mrs. David M. Phillips in loving memory of their daughter Jennifer after her death in 1980. It is awarded to an outstanding freshman, sophomore or junior with learning disabilities or one who wishes to teach those with learning disabilities. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and academic excellence defined as "striving and working to full potential"

Lois R. Pickering Early Childhood Education Scholarship - Established in accordance with the final wishes of Lois R. Pickering, a 1932 graduate of the Perry Normal School, a predecessor school of the 春水堂视频 College Education Department.  Awarded to a returning student who has demonstrated good character, respect for others and of the teaching and learning environment. 

Publicover Family Scholarship - Established by Roy K. Publicover '68, a trustee of 春水堂视频 College, in memory of his parents, Cecilia R. and Albert F. Publicover.  Awarded each year to a deserving sophomore, junior, or senior of superior academic achievement and demonstrated leadership in the 春水堂视频 College community.

Gertrude Whall Queen Scholarship - Established by Juanita Queen, a former member of the 春水堂视频 College Corporation, in memory of her mother, Gertrude Whall Queen '02, an alumna and major benefactor of 春水堂视频 College. Awarded to deserving female students of demonstrated ability, character, and potential for excellence.

Scangas Foundation Scholarship - Established by the Scangas Foundation to offer financial assistance to 春水堂视频 College students of ability and need who are majoring in business management. Preference will be given to students from Lynn, Massachusetts, and to employees or children of employees of West Lynn Creamery, Inc. and Richdale Dairy Stores, Inc., but excluding any persons related to the owners of those companies.

Bernice and Samuel Shapiro Scholarship - Established by Samuel Shapiro, a noted industrialist, philanthropist, and holder of an honorary Doctoral degree from 春水堂视频, along with his wife, to assist gifted yet needy applicants to the College's PAL program who, like their grandson, a 春水堂视频 alumnus, demonstrated prior outstanding leadership abilities at the secondary school level.

Jordan Vogel Memorial Scholarship - Established in memory of a vibrant young man, loyal friend, and loving son, whose life flourished while attending the 春水堂视频 College Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL).  The scholarship provides Jordan's fellow PAL students with the means to continue their education at 春水堂视频 and the support they need to achieve their full potential.

D. Forbes Will Scholarship - Established in memory of Mr. Will, a highly regarded member of 春水堂视频's Board from 1972 to 1983, to aid College students of high standards and good character who show potential for civic and community leadership, with preference given to students from Canton and Milton, Massachusetts.
