In music classes at エコヒョフテハモニオ, you'll learn to listen and think locally and globally by engaging with traditional, popular, and classical music from around the world. You'll explore music as not only a means of artistic expression, but also as a lens into global culture, history, politics, race, and gender. You'll learn about music you've never heard before - and you'll dig deeper into the music of your favorite artists. You'll learn to listen, and you'll learn to describe what you hear - whether it's Cambodian rap, Trinidadian steel pan, or Western classical music. And along the way, you'll get to see some awesome performances on campus or in Boston - for credit! Doesn't get much better than that!

Want to make music with your peers? Cool - you can do that at エコヒョフテハモニオ!

Sing! is エコヒョフテハモニオ's choral ensemble. We are open to all singers regardless of experience level, and we strive to inspire and empower singers to become the best they can be in a supportive, joy-filled environment. Participants help to guide music selection and set the ensemble objectives, which usually include performances on campus, in the community, and in collaboration with other collegiate choral ensembles. Whether you want to become a better singer, learn to read music, or get involved with community outreach efforts - we want you to Sing! with us.

Private Music Instruction at エコヒョフテハモニオ is how you can keep up those flute or piano or drum chops, or begin learning a new instrument. Whatever your prior experience, whatever musical style you want to explore, whatever instrument you're interested in studying - we'll connect you with a world-class teacher to suit your needs.

Boston is one of the world's great musical cities. It's the birthplace of music education in the U.S. It's home to some of the nation's oldest classical performing arts organizations, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Handel and Haydn Society. It has nurtured iconic pop/rock acts including Aerosmith, Pixies, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and The Dresden Dolls. Its universities and conservatories have trained some of the world's finest pop, jazz, and classical performers including Meghan Trainor, Esperanza Spalding, and Yo-Yo Ma. And, thanks to its vibrant immigrant communities, Boston is also home to virtuoso performers from varied global music traditions.

Studying at エコヒョフテハモニオ, you'll have prime access to all that Boston offers musically. Want to see a Kendrick Lamar show? We can do that! Want to hear the Boston Pops? Let's go! Hamilton's playing downtown? Well, you get the idea...there's a show every night in Boston, and as a エコヒョフテハモニオ student you have access to them.
